01. Permanent Magnetic Rods and Grates Introduction
♦ Magnetic grates
Magnetic grates, also called magnetic grids are used for magnetic filters, magnetic separators or magnetic water purifiers. They are composed of stainless steel frame and strong magnet bars according to different customers’ requirements for the various applications. The magnetic grate can be installed in the hopper, outlet pipeline, etc. When the material flows through the magnetic grate, the ferrous impurities will be firmly attracted on the bars, so as to protect the equipment in the next processes. The magnetic grate can be used to purify the particles, liquid and gas with ferrous impurities.
The magnetic bars (magnetic rods) are composed of stainless steel tubes and rare earth magnets inside (normally neodymium magnets, specially SmCo magnets for higher working temperature). The surface of the frame and magnetic bars (magnetic rods) can be fine polished and meet the food standard and pharmacy industry standard. The standard working temperature is 80 ℃, but it can reach 300℃ for special applicaitons.
♦ Magnetic Bars (magnetic Rods)
- Standard diameters D12, D16, D18, D19, D20, D23, D25, D32mm. Smallest can be D6mm and can be bigger than D35mm for customization.
- Length can be up to 1,000 mm and even longer per customers’ requirements.
- Standard fixation with female threads of M6, M8, M12 or male threads of M6, M8, M12, or inch threads according to customers’ requirements.
- Customized designs are welcome
- Laser welding and normal welding (argon protecting welding) optional.
- Easy to assemble/remove the tubes with the standard threads on the tube’ ends on/from the frame.
- Maximum flux density can reach 12,500GS on the rod surface
