01. Neodymium Fishing Magnets Introduction
Magnet fishing uses a strong neodymium magnet to salvage the ferrous metal objects under the water. If you want to try grabbing something lost on the bottom of a lake, pond or river, a fishing magnet on a rope might do the trick. You can also grab the objects sunk into the deep water tank by the fishing magnet without wetting yourself. Different with other pot magnets or magnetic hooks, normally people use the fishing magnet with an eyebolt or even two: one on the top and one at the side. The eyebolt is also referred to as hanging ring. Magnet fishers use a rope to tie on the eyebolt and throw the fishing magnet into the water. This does not mean the other pot magnets or magnetic hooks cannot be used as the fishing magnets, but the magnet with the eyebolt is easy to tie.
Some of our customers told us they use the combination of SC and SD series (shown in the picture below): screw SC model and SD model together and the rope ties on the space between them. This idea might be more likely to catch the underwater objects. It is also an option you can try. Magnet fishing is not suitable for catching the underwater objects that are not attracted to a magnet, such as gold or diamond though we hope so.
